Le Veglie di Neri is a wine where the Sangiovese meets the richness and smells of Dianella’s Cabernet Sauvignon allowing to create an elegant, smooth and very drinkable red wine. It can be drunk young but also aged in bottle for some years with excellent results. It offers its best with beef stewed and with roasted pig but also paired with cheeses.Manual harvesting and selection of grapes. Winery location: selection of the Bacettone vineyard, 180 a.s.l, south-west exposure to ensure an optimal development of the Cabernet-Sauvignon. Spur cordon. Vinification: in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation temperature is controlled. The skins’ time of maceration is 10 days for Sangiovese and 12 days for Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging: 8 months in cement tanks for the Sangiovese and in barriques for the Cabernet Sauvignon. Color: ruby red with violaceus reflexes. Bouquet: strong floreal notes well blended with spices and jams flavours. Taste: rich, warm, very drinkable, with smooth tannins and a rich finish.
